Temple & UCLA ESPN Zone Parties
The teams playing in the 2009 EagleBank Bowl will blow off some steam and let loose for an evening at the ESPN Zone. Players will receive unlimited game cards as they take over ESPN Zone’s spacious main-screening room and enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet. The main screening room offers state-of-the-art technology and multi-game viewing that includes specialized sports, all centered on a 16-foot video wall with tiered seating.

Temple & UCLA Tour the National Mall and Monuments
A visit to the nation’s capital wouldn’t be complete without a trip to our Mall and Monuments. From the Washington Monument, to the Reflecting Pool, to the Ellipse and the White House Christmas Tree, the participating schools in the 2009 EagleBank Bowl will tour these national treasures by bus with narration from a tour guide well versed in history and lore.

Temple & UCLA Visit the U.S. Capitol
A tour of the U.S. Capitol Building is a fitting experience for anyone visiting Washington, D.C. In addition to the tour, the teams playing in the 2009 EagleBank Bowl will have the opportunity to meet invited U.S. Representatives* from their respective states and have their photo taken on the Capitol steps.
(*During the holiday season, many U.S. Representatives return to their home states)

Temple Players Visit Community Boys and Girls Club
In between practices and planned events, select players from Temple will visit Richard England Clubhouse #14, a community Boys and Girls club. This is a special opportunity for team members to visit, interact with and bring holiday wishes to children in the Northeast community of Washington, D.C.

UCLA Select Players Visit Walter Reed Army Medical Center
In between practices and planned events, select players from UCLA will visit the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. This is a special opportunity for team members to visit and bring holiday wishes to our nation’s wounded warriors who unable to spend the holiday season at home.

Wives Reception and Shopping Trip to Tysons Galleria
Tysons Galleria, the world-class destination for luxury shopping and dining in the Washington, D.C., area will be our host for this private event. We will begin the evening with delicious cocktails and hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Maggiano’s as personal shopper and style expert Alison Street presents the trends of the upcoming season. She will discuss her top picks for the season and will offer advice on the must-haves for every closet. The wives will also learn what they need to complete their wardrobe on any budget, size or style. Then it is time to apply those style lessons as the wives shop the 100 stores at Tysons Galleria. As a special gift, each guest will receive a bag filled with special offers from the Galleria’s retailers that can be used throughout the weekend of the EagleBank Bowl.
